Description/Role
Scope of Work:
1) Contractor will provide technical staff to lead on-going application development (web and mobile) and system integration efforts for the department of Alcohol Beverage Services.
2) Contractor will provide candidate(s) with proven experience in:
Advanced web and mobile application development against the complete Microsoft web application development stack
Integration with, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure services such as File Storage, Cognitive search, Notification Hub, App Service.
Leveraging Amazon.com's cloud-computing platform (AWS), specifically EC2, Connect, and Lex
iOS and Android mobile app development
3) Experience with Montgomery County’s IT infrastructure as well as policies and procedures, though not required, is a plus.
4) Contract staff will provide knowledge transfer to departmental staff.
Deliverables:
The Contractor shall complete tasks associated with the lifecycle of application development (web and mobile) as directed by the project manager and in compliance with ABS-IT’s and the County’s application design requirements and standards.
The Contractor will participate in regular code review sessions.
The Contractor will assist requirements gathering.
The Contractor will contribute to the development of technical documentation.
The Contractor will contribute to the development and execution of test plans.
The Contractor will deploy web applications and associated databases objects into a production environment after successfully testing
The Contractor shall perform other technical duties as directed by the project manager
