What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Creative Interventions LLC?
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in early intervention and pediatrics to join our team.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- A current auto insurance policy.
- Maintains license by the Department of Public Health under §20-411 C.G.S.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Builds rapport and communicates effectively with clients and caregivers.
- Demonstrates strict adherence to the Code of Ethics as described by ASHA.
- Maintains cultural sensitivity across diverse clientele.
- Conducts assessments and standardized evaluations across developmental domains and for speech and language needs.
- Recommends assistive technology related to communication for children in their natural setting that are consistent with their needs, capabilities and family outcomes.
- Implements services as a primary service provider, providing coaching to families in their natural environment.
The position is in the CT area and requires a CT SLP license. We provide services all throughout CT-Tolland, Hartford, Litchfield, New Haven, New London and Middlesex counties.
