Production Supervisor

Job Summary
It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to perform the following duties with an emphasis on completing multiple tasks daily.

Duties

• Coordinate with Area Manager and Materials to develop functional daily/weekly schedules.
• Ensure all production and scrap is being correctly reported.
• Provide Hourly Production reports to area manager/management team.
• Ensure all pace boards are being correctly filed out with description and explanation.
• Train all new employees on how to follow job books and work instructions.
• Enter production information into appropriate databases and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate and lead Pre/Post Team meetings to discuss following concerns.
• Quality Alerts
• Production Performance
• Lessons learned
• Corrective Actions
• Establish functional break Schedule
• Assign operator to work cell, including packaging
• Ensure boxed product is labeled and staged on the dock.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the molding manufacturing production industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with safety
• Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
• Experience operating forklifts is preferred.
• Ability to fabricate solutions as needed for production challenges.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise a diverse team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
