Roadway Maintenance Worker
Salary range: $15/hr.
(Additional compensation in the form of Health & Welfare, sick time, PTO)
General:
Creative Management Technology is seeking Maintenance Workers to support field activities and equipment for routine maintenance services on non-interstate roadways for the Florida Department of Transportation in Brevard and Orange counties.
The projects include all labor, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to perform routine maintenance and repair activities associated with roadways infrastructure, drainage infrastructure, roadside vegetation and aesthetics, traffic services, and emergency response.
Responsibilities:
- Work includes asphalt repair, repair of non-paved shoulders, roadside slopes, ditches, sodding, drainage structures, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, guardrails, fences, and other miscellaneous structures.
- Ensure proper safety protocols are followed by the crew including work zone traffic control.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of infrastructure maintenance experience and roadway equipment operations.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
