We are seeking a carpet care dispatcher assistant to join our team!

As one of our assistant dispatchers, you will be responsible for assisting your lead dispatcher with efficiently coordinating and dispatching our plumbing technicians to ensure swift and superb service for our customers.

What You'll Assist With

• Dispatching a core group of technicians while continuously tracking their work status and location
• Managing the daily plumbing service schedule, rearranging by urgency throughout the workday
• Communicating with customers and technicians regarding any daily scheduling updates
• Fostering and building lasting relationships with customers and technicians through outstanding service
• Identifying customer needs and providing information and solution options through extensive knowledge of company products, services, and technician skillsets
• Communicating professionally and conscientiously in all customer and team interactions
• Assisting with additional administrative tasks, as needed
  
  

What You'll Need

• Experience in dispatching or within a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required
• Skilled at creative problem-solving and critical analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening
• Friendly demeanor with a positive go-getter personality
• Outstanding organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Self-starter mentality with great time management skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability on the job
• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting and courteously interacting with a variety of personalities
• Eagerness to learn and apply new techniques and technologies
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking
