- Position Requirements:
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Construction: Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of all aspects of construction, including but not limited to project management, safety regulations, building codes, and materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sale
- Responds to sales leads from varies channels e.g., Angie’s List, Dodge Report, past clients, etc.
- Assesses leads to determine if the opportunity aligns with CSG’s service offering, timing, and potential margin targets
- Sets appointments with potential clients to conduct site visit and define scope of work
- Reassess opportunity to confirm alignment with CSG’s service offering, timing, and potential margin targets
- Produces estimate; calculates required shop labor, subcontracted labor, materials, supplies, professional fees, permitting fees, travel time, and any other pertinent costs
- Upon estimate approval from management, creates and delivers quote to client, outlining terms, conditions, deadline dates, permit requirements, etc.
- Follows-up with client regularly as necessary to close sale
- Post-Sale
- Coordinates with Project Manager or Administration to enter new sale into EMS, perform contract review, and generate work order
- Plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Plans and prepares project schedules and milestones, and monitors progress against established schedules
- Oversees construction sites, subcontractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety
- Works hands-on when necessary to meet schedules
- Directs and trains shop labor as needed to develop construction skills
- Provides critical but motivational feedback to crew to develop skills and set expectations
- Develops and maintains project cost and change order controls
- Reviews WIP (work in progress) weekly, report on the status and progress of the projects with the oversight of management
- Prepares contracts and negotiates revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensures job-site safety at all times, including personal protection and hazard awareness
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Enter time in TimeStar and complete daily Expense reports
- Review and approve team members time in TimeStar daily
- Be available for client support at all times, including non-core hours and weekends
- Follow all policies, processes and procedures as outlined in the CSG company manual and other sources (i.e., department meeting minutes, other written policies and verbal direction)
- Embody the spirit of the Guiding Principles and 7 Habits in everything you do as a role model within the company
- Conduct interviews with potential new team members
- Any other requests as presented by executive leadership
