What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Instructor position at Creativities Studio?
This position is for a culinary class on Mondays from 3:15 - 4:15 PM starting on Monday September 8th.
Must have culinary teaching experience with children.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children ages 5-10 in engaging culinary arts class starting 9/8
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit to the entire semester from 9/8 - 12/19 or beyond
- Must be comfortable instructing children in learning a simple recipe.
- While curriculum planning is not necessary, we require that the lead instructor purchase the ingredients for the recipe before class and bring them to class. Expense reimbursement will be provided for the ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in culinary arts or passion for cooking & baking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
