Customer Service Representative - Grand Island, NE

**Job Summary:**
The Customer Service Representative - Grand Island is responsible for contacting consumers, gathering account information, and setting up payment arrangements. With exceptional customer service skills, you will communicate effectively with consumers over the telephone. Utilizing scripted openings, you will identify the consumer, the company, and request payment on the account. You will suggest payment sources for unpaid account balances, update customer records, and perform other assigned duties. This position is based in our Grand Island location and operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Up to $18 per hour plus commissions, based on experience
- Quarterly reviews for the first year with the opportunity to increase annual earnings by $2000

**Qualifications:**
To thrive in this role, you must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Call center environment experience desired
- Office environment experience is a plus

**Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative - Grand Island, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service on the telephone
- Utilize scripted openings to initiate contact with the appropriate party
- Recommend payment sources for outstanding account balances
- Update customer records with new information, maintain call results or disposition, and take relevant notes
- Perform other assigned duties

Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role, as is the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

**Technology Skills:**
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and phone experience, is preferred.

**Work Environment:**
This role is situated in a comfortable, temperature-controlled office environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will spend your work hours seated at a desk. The role involves making telephone calls, using a standard keyboard for typing, and reading and comprehending information from a computer terminal or written resources.
