Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operates computer to accurately open accounts, new loans, access account information, and generally update member account information.
- Actively markets and cross-sells current and new products and services of the credit union and attempts to educate members on the benefits and features of new, as well as existing services.
- Follows up referral leads by contacting members and working a consistent pipeline daily to generate new business for the Credit Union
- Assists in the preparation of credit information necessary to establish credit limit, including such factors as applicant’s assets, credit experience, and personal references, based on predetermined standards.
- Provides support to the loan department for online member/non-member loan application approvals to improve turnaround time for loan production and closing.
- Participates in call back nights. Contacts members for loan closing, negative shares, marketing campaign, or other credit union related matters as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical abilities, highly motivated, goal oriented, excellent member service skills, good communicator, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Outbound sales calling experience
- FICEP Certification
- Notary Public
- Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
This individual must be available for scheduling during Credit Union operating hours. Staffing assignments are periodically adjusted to meet business needs. This position could be transferred to another office in the same geographic region at any time.
