JOB SUMMARY:
The Bone Grind Supervisor is responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. The individual is responsible for approaching their work in a positive manner and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.
The Bone Grind Supervisor is responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage operations while partnering with maintenance on centrifuges, Grinders, bone drier, load out area, meal grinder, Gel bone operation water softeners, and steam generators
- Oversees the process operations to produce product that is within specification
- Able to maximize yields by having a clear understanding of yields of product
- Coordinate safety meetings and responsible for subordinate’s safety
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of preventative and corrective maintenance policies, procedures, and reporting system.
- Manage CIP process and order CIP chemical to ensure process is clean each day
- Able to load paperwork on shipments
- Run tests with the FOSS Machine
- Adhere to Process Safety Management Program’s rules and regulations
- Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situations
- All other duties as assigned
