What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Support Specialist position at Cremer North America LP?
Reporting directly to the IT Application Manager, the ERP Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the primary software application (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central). Maintenance duties include new user setup, key user training, troubleshooting transaction errors (root cause analysis, focused training, and repair). Additional duties include assisting in user acceptance testing and supporting software validations.

- B.A. or B.S in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, and/or Computer Science discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Kind & Length of Experience:
- At least 1 years experience with an ERP software and related business processing.
- Experience with Dynamics Business Central / NAV is preferred, but not required.
- Experience managing projects and/or involvement in project implementation.
- Ability to work independently and self-start / learn independently is critical.
- Analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
- Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders to collect information about frustrations, issues, and questions that interrupt their workflow
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
- Assist business process flow discussions to find best business practices
- Work with external vendors (Innovia, Insight Works, Visiship, etc.) on product development from cross functionally developed process design
- Understand and respond to the needs of the internal customer within the framework of the policies and procedures of the IT department
- Close familiarity with the major business processes as they are represented in Business Central
- Troubleshoot processing and data errors and provide assistance to product development on problem resolution
- Oversee the testing of process changes within Business Central, including preliminary testing
- Assist in the writing of any software validation required
- Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
- Provide end user training for business systems
- Engage in management of change (MOC) processes
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, Security Requirements covered under Local State and Federal Regulations;
- Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures, and other requirements;
- Other duties as assigned.
