As a Pre-ETS Instructor, You'll Spend Your Days
- Engaging with Students and Families: Provide individualized support for students, guide them through employment options, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
- Developing Programs: Coordinate and oversee job shadowing, employment experiences, and skills-building sessions for students.
- Collaborating with Schools and Community Partners: Work directly within school settings, develop community contacts for employment services, and support students’ post-graduation plans.
- Managing Transportation and Supervision: Schedule and provide transportation for students during breaks and summer, as needed, to facilitate job-related experiences.
- Documenting and Reporting: Keep accurate records in the Pre-ETS online portal, including case notes, billing, student contact details, and career goals.
- Promoting Awareness: Assist in publicizing services and opportunities for program expansion and community engagement.

Position Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, with familiarity in educational or disability support environments preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Certification: Valid Driver's License and agency insurability; American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Schedule: Monday-Friday during school hours, with flexibility to accommodate program activities during breaks and summer as needed.
- I/DD Knowledge: Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Documentation and Technology: Proficient in computer-based data entry and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Time Management: Skilled at prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and maintaining organized schedules.
- Interpersonal & Communication: Effective in building rapport with students, parents/guardians, and school faculty, using active listening and respectful communication.
- Team Collaboration: Able to work effectively across departments, encouraging a collaborative environment to support student success.
- Program Promotion: Experience in raising public awareness and promoting program offerings is an asset.
