Required Skills & Abilities:

• At least two years of previous direct experience as hotel Assistant Front Office Manager. At least three to four years direct experience as hotel Front Office Supervisor. 
• Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, holidays, weekends and overnight shifts as needed.
• Problem Solver, Self-Starter, Customer Service Oriented, Problem Resolution.
• High comfortability in working with computers.
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours.

Job Description

• Manage Front Office (Valet parking, Front desk, PBX, Bellman) staff and daily operations of department.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solution.
• Manage and resolve challenging customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Supervise Front Desk, PBX, Bellman, Valet Parking, Night Audit staff and ensure assigned duties, closing paperwork and money drops are accurately completed.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to control out-of-order and discrepant rooms.
• Enforce hotel and department policies and procedures, train, develop, counsel, discipline and evaluate staff.
• Work closely with Valet team members to ensure performance expectations are being met.
• Ensure proper credit and cash bank procedures are consistently followed.
• Maintain guest safety and handle emergency situations, as well as emergency evacuations.
