What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver/BHT position at Crest View Recovery Center LLC?
- Provides care to patients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment.
- Transports clients to and from Crest View Recovery Center in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient records and information.
- Transport patients to and from appointments, clinics, laboratories, and/or treatments, as and when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and appropriate fluid levels.
- Attends and participates in group sessions, in-service education, and staff meetings.
- Maintains established institutional policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in service meetings and workshops.
- May provide liaison with patients, families of patients, or external facilities and agencies.
- Utilizes KIPU, group text, and email for documentation and communication purposes.
- Observes and conducts urine drug samples and alcohol breathalyzer tests.
- Observes self-administration of medication and signs medication administration record to document medication compliance.
- Conducts client intakes.
- Conducts client/property searches.
- Works with other members of a multidisciplinary team, when assigned, in leading milieu activities such as current events groups, community meetings, goals groups, fitness groups, activities of daily living groups, and/or recreational activities, as appropriate to the specified patient population.
- Emails, charts and/or documents patient observations, following prescribed procedures and standards.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living; attends to patient behavioral problems and provides assistance in crisis intervention, as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
A minimum of 1 year experience with chemical dependency and/or dual diagnosed clients preferred.
Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
Knowledge of Detox and Substance Abuse.
Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal and in Written Communication Skills.
Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies
Knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention
Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program
Knowledge of Safety Management / Infection / Risk Management.
Salary : $26,200 - $33,100
