We at Crestron are revolutionizing the way people live and work.  We are building the meeting room and classroom of the future.  Crestron programming software (Crestron Software Tools) enable our customers to deploy and customize Crestron control systems - the core of Crestron’s offering in the professional audio/video and building automation markets. We are in the process of completely revamping out software tools and creating a more modern development environment for our users.  This is an exciting opportunity to design and develop a new suite of software from the ground up.  The look and feel of this new software tool will represent the face of Crestron programming to all of our users on a daily basis. It is an opportunity to present modern, slick, efficient, and functional workflow to our users, and reinforce that impression every day.

Most Crestron equipment deployed in the field today are still custom programmed and users will leverage this new set of software tools to create highly customized systems for our customers.

We are looking for a Lead Software Developer with JavaScript, C# and HTML5/CSS/AngularJS or React development skills. We want to augment our development team with an individual who has a keen eye for software design. We’ll be coupling your skills with our development know-how to produce the next generation of our custom software development products. This is an opportunity to weave your unique design skills throughout the new software project, as a key part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scrum meetings with agile development teams  
• Participate in sprint grooming, planning, and retrospective ceremonies 
• Collaborate with team members on designing and developing creative solutions to complex problems 
• Participate in developing and maintaining new and existing applications by writing code on web application frameworks
• Troubleshoot and Fix application-level bugs 
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities with peers and managers regarding functional and technical knowledge as well as implementing development standards. 
• Participate on project teams for cross-functional and integrated system development. 
• Support new and existing applications 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12  years business and technical experience.. 
• Technical Skills 
• Full stack development, for both desktop and web platforms.
• Expert in JavaScript
• Experience writing Automated Unit test cases for C#/JavaScript/Typescript 
• Knowledge of C#
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
• Knowledge of Visual Studio 2019 and up 
• Knowledge of GIT is a plus 
• Knowledge of React, Bootstrap and Angular 8 or above is a plus 
• Knowledge of Microservices is a plus 
• Knowledge of Dockers/Containers is a plus 
• Azure Cloud exprerience is a plus
