What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Program Director position at Crestwood Behavioral Health?
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Assistant Program Director assists in the direction and coordination of assigned aspects of case management and programming. The assistant program director/shift supervisor ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements. The Assistant Program Director also helps in the supervision of program staff by providing therapeutic guidance. In addition, he or she assists the program director in coordinating and implementing the core program.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of an A.A. /B.A./B.S. degree in psychology, social work, or a field related to mental health is preferred, and meets the minimum of any county contract.
- Licensed LCSW or LMFT preferred
- A minimum of two years experience in a clinical setting, at least one of which must have been in a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-5, psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery principles.
- Familiarity with appropriate regulatory standards.
- Valid California driver’s license preferred.
