QA Engineer

Location: PA-Philadelphia, 100% Remote

Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute QA efforts for complex projects in the telecom domain
• Collaborate with test leads and developers to plan, execute, and validate functional, regression, and system tests
• Leverage automation tools (Selenium with Java) to streamline testing and improve coverage
• Manage and track defects through established defect management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
• Support and mentor junior testers as needed; take ownership of deliverables and deadlines
• Participate in daily stand-ups and provide detailed reporting on test progress and blockers
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of QA/testing experience, including manual and automated testing
• Telecom industry experience is required — familiarity with telecom products, systems, and terminology
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for test automation
• Strong defect management experience and attention to detail in test case execution
• Proven ability to work independently and lead small QA efforts or teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
  
  

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
