Job Description Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be part of a team working in the rebar shop to build cages safely, accurately, and efficiently
Responsibilities
Build rebar cages according to drawings provided - tools supplied by the company- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
- Unload and stack prefabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings
- Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel
- Experience using rebar fabrication machinery a plus, but not required
- Warehouse environment, all work is performed indoors (no travel required)
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
