- Provide supervision, direction, and support for programs and services.
- Uphold the agency’s mission, goals, objectives, and clinical philosophy.
- Serve as a positive role model for staff and maintain adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Supervise Program Managers in program operations and implementation of agency policies.
- Hire, train, and evaluate Program Managers and other supervisory staff.
- Ensure quality service delivery through supervision, audits, site visits, and regulatory reviews.
- Oversee integration of clinical services including admissions, discharges, treatment planning, and staffing ratios.
- Maintain accountability for adequate, competent, and qualified clinical staff.
- Serve as agency liaison with families, funders, regulatory agents, and community partners.
- Promote effective communication across departments and interdisciplinary teams.
- Model respectful, professional, and collaborative interactions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and practice standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Oversee financial management and budget compliance for programs.
- Promote efficient use of resources and monitor FTE utilization.
- Submit all required financial and operational reports on time.
- Ensure staff training and compliance with health and safety policies.
- Monitor program environments for safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives, using data and feedback to drive enhancements.
- Implement corrective actions based on audits, surveys, or investigations.
- Participate in marketing, fundraising, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and implement new services with leadership approval.
- Represent CRi on committees and community initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia in a clinical field related to mental health, substance use, and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Master’s Degree in a clinical or health administration field with 5 years of supervisory/management experience in human services/clinical care.
- For youth programs: Master’s in Social Work plus 3 years of experience with children/families (including 1 year of administrative oversight).
- Experience in supervision, program development, community relations, budgeting, crisis intervention, and public speaking.
- Knowledge of billing and reimbursement (Medicaid, Medicare, HUD).
- Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online clinical/administrative systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate sensitive clinical and administrative issues.
- Ability to travel between program sites.
- No specific physical demands required.
- Direct supervision of Program Managers and other clinical mid-management staff.
