Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while processing transactions.
- Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.
- Provide information about promotions, sales, and store policies to customers.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Support inventory management by reporting low stock levels and assisting with restocking efforts.
- Meet individual sales goals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
