Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team at Crisafulli Bros. Plumbing & Heating Contractors, Inc. This role is essential in managing our procurement processes and ensuring that we maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Manage the supply chain process from sourcing to delivery of materials.
- Oversee inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand material needs for upcoming projects.
- Evaluate vendor performance and establish strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in the construction or service industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Excellent supply chain management knowledge and practices.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively and efficiently.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and vendor management techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of fabrication processes is a plus but not required.
