Job Title: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: 6 Months Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and Salesforce configuration/user stories.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and Salesforce technical teams (admins, developers, consultants).
- Design and optimize end-to-end Salesforce processes (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Lead testing efforts including UAT, system integration, and validation testing, especially around HIPAA and FDA-compliant workflows.
- Assist with change management, end-user training, and adoption strategies.
- Support integration efforts with healthcare platforms, such as EHRs, medical device data systems, or patient engagement tools.
- Create reports and dashboards for clinical operations, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Ensure platform compliance with data security, HIPAA, and SOX requirements.
Required Qualification:
- 5 years of experience as a Salesforce BSA or Salesforce Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industry is required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA regulatory environments, and patient data privacy protocols.
- Proven track record of business process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in writing user stories, use cases, process flows, and documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Health Cloud Specialist).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Miro.
- Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or HL7-based platforms).
- Understanding of medical device lifecycle, post-market surveillance, or patient monitoring workflows.
