Our company seeks a Quality Control Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for Delivery. The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential.
Quality Control
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
- Report inspection and test data.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Create an effective/efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality.
- Inspect and test activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
- Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
- Interpret quality control philosophy within company.
- Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
- Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
- Create and direct environmental test functions and applications.
- Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
- Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.
HSE
- Assist in all safety initiatives
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in any concentration preferred, experience can substitute degree on a 1:1 basis.
Experience:
- Five years of Quality Control
