After School Care Teacher
Reports to: Lydia Thiesfeldt, Early Childhood Ministry Director
The After School Care Teacher will provide care and supervision for children that stay later than the 3:15pm regular school hours. Supervision will take place in the Before/After School Care classroom and on the outdoor playscape/patio. The teacher has a duty to ensure that all children are picked up safely by the correct adults. After school care runs from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Early Childhood or Elementary Education coursework, training, or experience preferred

DUTIES
- Supervises children while they are in the classroom or on the outdoor playscape
- Monitors parent pick-up
- Checks students in/out of system
- Engages in appropriate and positive teacher-child interactions
- Follows all classroom and school procedures to ensure the safety of all students
- Ensures all toys are put away on outdoor playscape at end of day
- Ensures classroom is tidy at end of day
ANTICIPATED WEEKLY TIME COMMITMENT: 10 hours
3:15 pm – 5:15 pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
