What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at Crouse Hospital?
Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of specialized and general procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Responsible for patient care with no age limitations.
Job Requirements:
- Functional knowledge of principles and procedures used in diagnostic radiology for safe and efficient operation and maintenance of routine radiologic equipment. This ability should be at or above a level acquired through formal education in a program approved by the New York State Department of Health.
- Current State of New York license to practice diagnostic medical radiography.
- Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
Minimum per diem requirement: At least two shifts per month (prioritizing weekend shifts) and one holiday per year. Various shifts available ranging from 8 to 13 hours, days, evenings, and nights.
Hourly Rate Range
$28.30-$53.57/hour
