What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technologist position at Crouse Hospital?
Under the supervision of the Administrative Director, Ultrasound Supervisor, and Radiologists, in charge, performs diagnostic imaging studies using real-time ultrasound equipment. The technologist will use his/her knowledge of anatomy and scanning expertise to demonstrate organ systems in the normal and diseased states. Responsible for patient care with no age limitations. Job Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. BS degree or higher or certificate from Accredited Sonography program or Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEACompetency Assessment). RDMA mandatory and RVT preferred, or candidate must be eligible to sit for boards upon hire date. If not Registered already, Candidate must obtain RDMS within 2 years of hire date.

$33.27 - $62.99/hour
