Job Description: Business Development Specialist
Reports To: Business Development and Marketing Manager
Classification: Exempt
General Description:
The Business Development Specialist focuses on Marketing and Business Development tasks and initiatives to ensure our Sales team achieve their minimum contracts secured revenue goals.
Duties:
- Schedule and coordinate lunch & Learns, onsite visits with PMs
- Network and find opportunities with our ideal Commercial Clients, including primarily in the commercial real estate
- Have a laser-focus on pipeline management and partner with internal stakeholders on this initiative. Know what we have in queue and set the team up to successfully execute.
- Attend mandatory huddle meetings as required. Includes Monday Huddle with Senior Vice President of Revenue to review prior week’s accomplishments and current week’s plans.
- Provide excellent client service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and internal teams and employees.
- Provide frequent feedback to the team to achieve client needs
- Use salesforce as the keeper of all activities. Your schedule should reflect your daily activities.
- Maintain competitor awareness to inform Leadership of what’s happening in the market place.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
- Complete other duties at the discretion of management
Requirements:
- A professional and mature candidate with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work individually and create self-driven projects
- Persistent and assertive
- Ability to confidently source and approach new prospects
- Skilled in the art of networking
- Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public.
- Good computer skills.
- Previous sales experience in the roofing industry preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
