Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems across various client sites. The Audiovisual Technician will ensure seamless operation of AV equipment, providing exceptional support for corporate events, conferences, and live productions. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and digital displays.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues related to AV hardware and control systems using troubleshooting tools.
- Manage cabling, wiring, and connections following schematics and electrical standards to ensure safety and reliability.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for system setup, repair, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with telecommunication setups involving low voltage wiring and networking components.
- Use hand tools for installation tasks such as mounting equipment or making adjustments on-site.
- Adhere to safety protocols related to electrical work and low voltage systems during all operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical or telecommunication fields with a focus on low voltage systems. Savant, Control4, and Lutron.
- Strong understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles.
- Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting related to AV equipment and control systems.
- Knowledge of computer hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for installation or repair tasks.
- Prior field service experience working directly at client locations is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.
- Relevant certifications or training in electrical experience or AV technology are advantageous. This role is ideal for technically skilled professionals passionate about audiovisual technology who thrive in hands-on environments requiring precision and customer-focused service delivery.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
