What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Crusader Community Health?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physician Assistant provides primary care services to children and/or adults as part of the provider team at Crusader Community Health collaborating with licensed MD/DO physicians.
Education & Training:
- Successful completion of NCCPA approved Physician Assistant training program. NCCPA certification as a PA-C. Recent graduate must take and pass the next certification exam to continue employment.
- Unrestricted Illinois Physician Assistant license, Controlled Substance License, Federal DEA
- Current CPR Certification (responsible for maintaining certification)
- Spanish fluency highly desired
- Although desired, no further experience required after meeting educational & licensure requirements
