Summary: Weigh trucks. Insure that customer trucks (internal and external) do not leave the yard improperly loaded (no overweight’s).
Essential Functions:
Weigh trucks. Insure that customer trucks (internal and external) do not leave the yard improperly loaded (no overweights).
Send transaction register and ticket copies to main office on daily basis.
Tare truck (empty weight) on weekly basis and record as appropriate.
Answer phones and take accurate messages for others in their absence.
Insure adequate tickets and supplies are stored to prevent from running out.
Consolidates and signs off fuel truck delivery for pit operations.
Develop and maintain effective and reliable working relationships with supervisors, and co-workers.
Keep scale house clean.
Other Tasks:
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably can also perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: Minimum:
A valid driver license
Previous scale experience
Preferred:
2 years prior work experience
