Schedule and Pay:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM Friday & Saturday OT as needed.
Salary Grade B
Job Summary:
The Panel Door Sander/Puttier is responsible for performing basic processes in the fabrication of panel doors.
Job Duties:
- Applies putty, wood putty, or lacquer sticks to panel door surface to fill imperfections.
- Smooths and sands panel door surface for finishing.
- Inspects surface of product for defects such as holes, cracks and indentations using product specifications.
- Determines type of sanding equipment and sand paper grit to be used on panel door according to product, wood specie, finish, specifications and door style.
- Determines proper putty to use per wood specie.
- Follows safety procedures and maintains work as well as equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
