What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Crystal Downs Country Club?
Responsibilities:
- Operates specialized golf course equipment
- Monitors the equipment and assigned areas of operation
- Trains new employees on the safe operation and proper use and care of the equipment
- Keeps a neat and orderly work area, and properly cleans and cares for all equipment
- Performs assigned golf course maintenance tasks
- Understands the relationship between golf course maintenance and course playability
- Communicates professionally with members, staff, and vendors
Requirements:
- Must follow safety protocols and guidelines for any task and for all equipment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Note: This is a seasonal position—April through December.
