Shipping and Receiving Specialist

• Coordinate and track all outgoing and incoming shipments
• Load and unload shipments
• Create shipment from start to finish
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, DHL software
• Ability to operate sit-down propane forklift
• Verify material prior to all outbound shipments to customers (international and domestic).
• Enter weight, freight charges, and tracking information into computer
• Prepare manifests, NAFTA forms and commercial documents for exports to Mexico, Canada, and/or customers worldwide.
• Review and work with purchasing as needed to update anticipated delivery reports
• Order all supplies for S/R and drivers. Wood, boxes, tape, straps etc.
• Work with vendors UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. to ensure proper and competitive pricing
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and within a team
• Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
• Prior experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, preferred
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
