Job Title: Director of Solution Architects
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Primary Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Office
Full Time/Part Time: FT Salaried
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION — Why the position exists and how you make a difference
The purpose of the position is to lead the team to become trusted technical advisors and architects of solutions for our clients in such a way they lead to bookings and profitable growth of cStor and success for the clients

- Develop the team – hire, develop, and retain the right talent and build a team environment in which people can be successful
- Drive client engagement – enable the team to work closely with clients, partners, and account managers to identify and solve the client’s business needs
- Collaborate for success – partner with leaders and teams across functions to identify, sell, and implement successful solutions

The following additional responsibilities come with this position
- Develop and train the SA methodology, processes, and tool sets that enable SAs to perform
- Manage AM and account/work assignments, productivity, and individual goal setting
- Help articulate and educate clients how the solution meets quality, value, timing, and technical requirements
- Identify obstacles in the sales, consulting, and implementation process and collaboratively pursue ways to overcome them
- Drive effective collaboration and knowledge transfer between sales, engineering, and operations teams
- Manage the department’s budget, resource allocation, and planning

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE — Technical capabilities you learn and acquire
- Experience managing a team and function (people, processes, budgets)
- Experience and technical knowledge of Data Center, Security, and Cloud solutions
- Understands the technical facets of scoping, designing, and proposing solutions and understands the process of selling B2B services and solutions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS — Requirements you must meet to be considered for the position
- At least five years of experience in the Data Center, Security, or Cloud industry
- At least five years of experience selling or consulting in technical B2B services and solutions
- At least two years of managerial experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
