What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounder position at CSWI w/Subsidiaries?
Responsibilities:
- Must follow all Safety Methods and Procedures. (i.e. Proper Lifting Techniques, MSDS, etc.)
- Have an understanding of basic GMP's and Quality Control concepts and practices in order to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other training instructions.
- Prepare materials for batches in accordance to pre-batch tickets.
- Monitor process to ensure that the right quantity and quality are being met in an efficient manner.
- Fill products from mixers.
- Manufacture high quality products with maximum use of time and equipment.
- Organize and prepare raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling product usage in the ERP system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Adhere to the CSW Industrials Code of Ethics, actively apply the CSW Industrials Core Values .
Requirements / Skills:
- While performing duties of this job, employee is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly required to stand, bend, lift, and carry.
- Able to perform and understand basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
- Basic computer skills needed to learn company systems.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desired.
- Forklift experience including stand=up and sit-down forklifts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with team members and all necessary departments.
- Good decision making and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen.
- Demonstrated good performance and attendance
- Flexibility to meet changing production demands
- Must be able to work in various degrees of temperature – hot and cold.
