What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at CTD Staffing, LLC?
CTD Staffing is looking for Legal Assistant candidates with 2 years of experience in a legal environment. We have a client looking to fill several Appeals/Litigation Legal Assistant positions in the Nashville area. This is a HYBRID position and candidates need to be within 30 miles of downtown Nashville for any days they may need to go into the office. Pay is $25/hour WITH benefits, hours are Monday - Friday 8-4:30 pm. Please review the below job responsibilities and apply immediately if interested. Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to maintain a high-volume caseload and adhere to the timeliness standard of appeals while conducting the due process review.
• Assist in the achievement of a high performing and positive work environment that will promote the [CLIENT] Mission.
• Daily receives and reviews appeals for potential resolution within policy guidelines. If a resolution cannot be found, make outreach.
• Conduct outreach to explain the [CLIENT]'s actions related to [CLIENT] programs and coordinate with other staff for the prompt resolution of appeals where necessary.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in researching appeal cases and documenting notes for proper case processing. Attends and actively participates in all unit meetings and problem-solving discussions for workflow improvements.
