What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager position at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar?

This is a full time Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager position with benefits that requires nights and weekends, averaging 50 hours a week. Every Friday and Saturday night, we turn into a Latin nightclub from 11pm-2am, but Sous Chefs are not scheduled past 12am. We are looking for BOH leaders that have strong culinary skills, and are also able to teach and develop their team.
Qualifications:
- 2 years previous experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced restaurant with high culinary standards.
- The advantage goes to candidates with a culinary school diploma or ServSafe certification.
- Adhere to food safety standards.
- Strong culinary and knife skills.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to speak, read and write English. Spanish is a plus.
