Compensation: $19–$25/hr depending on qualifications and experience; $55 a day per diem while in the field


DESCRIPTION


The Rocky Mountain Divisional office of Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. is seeking seasonal field technicians for multiple inventory projects primarily in North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. These projects are either currently in progress or will commence shortly.


Fieldwork is expected to last for several weeks. A bachelor’s degree or higher and demonstrated Class III inventory experience are required. All candidates must be able to hike with a field pack 8-10 miles a day over steep uneven terrain. Fieldwork will frequently be conducted at elevations exceeding 5,000 ft. The ideal candidate will have experience working on renewable energy development projects and be able to work independently. They will also have experience with and be familiar with operating Trimble GPS units, basic digital cameras and data collection tablets. Also these projects will be based out of small towns with limited resources, so please be prepared.


Pay will be commensurate with experience and will be competitive with the local market ranging from $19 to $25 an hour. Overtime pay will be paid at time and half over 40 hours a week. CRAI will provide single occupancy housing (when possible) and at least $55 a day per diem while in the field. These positions are temporary, but employees who excel in their work will be considered for continuing work after the field season.
