The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, and a passion for making a difference.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Build custom Salesforce solutions including flows, validation rules, and custom objects.Develop Lightning Web Components and Aura components to enhance user experience.Create and optimize Apex classes, triggers, SOQL/SOSL and batch processes.Partner with staff to understand needs and translate them into technical solutionsProvide support for SFDC users across the organizationDocument specs, processes, and system configurationsParticipate in sandbox / QA for new features and releasesBuild reports and dashboards that provide insights to organizationMaintain data quality through validation rules, automation, and regular auditsSupport data migration and cleansing initiativesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1-2 years of Salesforce development experience (internships and project work count)Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder)Understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, governor limits and best practices.Understanding of SDLC practices in Salesforce, including sandbox strategies and deployment processes.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Education Data Architecture (EDA)Familiarity with integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms)Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)Experience working with nonprofits or social service organizationsUnderstanding of education or social services organizational flowsFamiliarity with third-party tools form buildersHIRING PROCESSTwo-stage interview: Video Initial Meetup and In-person and/or Video Tech Panel MeetupPre-employment investigation required (criminal background, drug test)Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
