The Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA (CCA YMCA) has openings for Site Assistants in our 2024-2025 school year Before and After School Program. Trainings hours are paid and certifications like CPR and First Aid are provided to you at no cost!

The CCA YMCA Site Assistants work in conjunction with the Site Coordinators and School Age Supervisors to deliver a quality program that is functioning within the CCA YMCA, State, and local policies, procedures, and licensing requirements. Employees receive paid, on the job trainings as well as paid supplemental trainings to ensure that the program is running in the safest way possible to protect the children in the program.
The hours for the program are split shift and no more than 28 hours per week. These are flexible part time, Monday through Friday hours!
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Meets educational requirement of a minimum of a High School diploma.
- At least 18 years of age.
- CPR, First Aid, AED and oxygen certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of
hire date. - Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate
program activities. - Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships
