Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hour per week, a Residence Program Director ensures all Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) regulations, policies and procedures are met for the residential program. Responsible for supervision of residential full time and prn employees.
The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.
What does this position look like~ The Residence Program Director maintains a full caseload. Collaborate with treatment teams and discharge coordinators of each referring hospital. Ensure timely admissions to the residence program. Meets billing requirements and inform The Guidance Center billing supervisor of issues that impact billing. Oversees clinical case reviews and treatment planning. Provides clinical education and training to residence employees. Implements and monitors the safety and risk procedures. Ensures supervision of residence employees. Oversees and monitors the Quality Improvement Plan within the program including but not limited to indicators, thresholds, outcome measures, goals, utilization of resources, engagement and client satisfaction surveys. Facilitate residence meetings for each group home. Ensure graduation of client as appropriate. Interviews and recommend qualified residence candidates to the personnel committee. Available on an on-call basis as needed.
What you need to apply~
- Master's degree required from an accredited institution in a mental health related field, licensure preferred (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC).
- Two years supervisory experience preferred, one year of supervisory experience required with progressively greater amounts of responsibility demonstrated in the work setting.
- Residential experience preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiar with Electronic Health Records.
- Proficient in implementation of Evidence Based services and person first language.
- Willing to work a forty-hour flexible schedule with on call responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license.
