We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in a role with dual functions. Part of the job will entail patient care as a medical and surgical assistant. The other role will be as a laboratory assistant. We are willing to train the right person for the job.
Required: Associates Degree in Health Science or Laboratory
Responsibilities:
- Participation with electronic medical records.
- Laboratory Assistant
- Medical and Surgical Assistant
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Health Science
- Certification or degree in Medical Assisting or related field preferred
- Experience in a dermatology or pathology lab setting is helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
