Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. (CFMC) is pleased to announce the launch of the first Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program in Kentucky. This residency program will provide intensive training in clinical complexity of family practice.
We are excited to welcome Family Nurse Practitioners to our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program launching January 1st, 2023!
We have 5 Continuity Clinics spread out across all of Kentucky. Depending on where in Kentucky the resident lives, determines which continuity clinic they will be located for the entirety of the program. The resident will, in fact, travel between their continuity clinic, specialty clinic, and mentored clinic every week for their rotations/learning. Please find a list of all clinics/rotation schedule and locations below:
Continuity Clinics: (2 days/week)
- Cumberland Family Medical Center: Burkesville, KY
- Family Care of the Bluegrass -- West: Frankfort, KY
- Greensburg Family Medical Center: Greensburg, KY
- Russell Family Medical Center: Russell Springs, KY
- Whitley Family Medical Center: Whitley City, KY
Specialty Clinics: (1 day/week with month-long rotations)
- Glasgow Pediatric Healthcare: Glasgow, KY
- Women's Care of Lake Cumberland: Somerset, KY
- Danville Internal Medicine: Danville, KY
- Promise Community Health Center: Somerset, KY
- School-Based Healthcare: Elizabethtown, Lawrenceburg, Glasgow, or Monticello, KY
*This location will also depend on where you are primarily located.
Mentored Clinics: (1 day/week)
- First Choice Immediate Care: Columbia, KY
