POSITION TITLE: DUAL ENROLLMENT & EARLY COLLEGE COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: Academic Affairs
SUPERVISOR: University Registrar
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
Overall management of the Academic Records; providing maintenance and supervision of all student academic records and related materials for the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Registrar.
- STANDARD EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- To possess the understanding of and the commitment to the University Mission.
- Interpret and communicate academic and institutional policies accurately, promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist the Vice President for Academic Affairs, University Registrar, School Deans, in compiling semester schedules. Input and layout the schedule for University use in registration, etc.
- Create and update appropriate forms for faculty and student use.
- Instruct up to 6 credit hours per semester, preferably in Dual Enrollment course offering.
- Assist the Vice President for Academic Affairs, University Registrar in establishing policy, procedure and directives for registration processing. Work with appropriate administrative offices. (Business, Admissions, and Financial Aid) in ensuring an efficient and time managing system for pre-registration and registration.
- Evaluate Transfer Transcripts.
- Evaluate graduation progress of students and ensure all graduation requirements are met.
- Work specifically with students interested in dual enrollment including early college.
- Maintains open lines of communications with schools and the community to assist qualified students for the various dual enrollment programs.
- Provide direct support to dual enrollment instructors and high school counselors.
- Participate in professional development as appropriate to the role.
- Conduct orientations and other dual enrollment presentations in high schools or in the greater community as needed.
- Plan, develop and implement uniform campus processes and structures that provide service and support to all dual enrollment students.
- Facilitate the day-to day implementation of initiatives and strategies related to dual enrollment on the main campus as well as approved off-site locations.
- Foster positive, professional and effective written and verbal communication with supervisor, college staff, faculty, school district personnel staff, home school cooperatives, students, and parents.
- Serve as the center point of contact for students, parents, school personnel, high school instructors, college faculty and college staff on topics related to dual enrollment and early college.
- Respond in a professional manner to correspondence and other inquiries regarding program; maintain open lines of communication with regards to assigned programs.
- Serve as a bridge between Enrollment Services and Academic Affairs in the implementation of policy, including adherence to legislative mandates, district school practices and processes, internal University policy (transcript issues, grade appeals, application deadlines, curriculum requirements, assessment policy, the College information systems, etc.), and home school legislation and practices.
- Serve on University Committees as requested by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Perform other duties/tasks as may be assigned and/or requested by the supervisor and/or superior.

- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required: Master’s Degree
