What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic IV position at Cumberland Valley High School?
A 12 month, 8 hours per day, Maintenance Mechanic IV position available.
This position is responsible for the proper operation of all mechanical systems and will perform maintenance trade activities to maintain District property in good repair. The applicant must possess the ability to perform one or more of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds. The individual must have electrical experience and the ability to work with voltage up to and including 480v, three-phase, transformers, and switchgear. Individual must also be able to perform as a crew leader when the assigned task or project requires several maintenance personnel, and is able to read blueprints, perform labor and material estimating and layout, and order material, as necessary.
Applicants must have knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in trades. Individual must also be adaptable, flexible, and willing to work on a team. CFC license is preferred.
Applicants must possess a High School diploma and have at least three years of practical experience in a specific trade or combined experience in several trades. The applicant should have corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges.
