ROLE:
As an Operations Coordinator at CURATED, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our administrative and title management processes. This position is vital for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions efficiently, and supporting the team with various clerical tasks. You will be the go-to person for titling vehicles, preparing necessary documentation, and assisting with administrative duties to keep our operations running smoothly.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Title Clerk Experience: Proven experience in an auto dealership or tag agency.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through skills.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Skilled in MS Excel and MS SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Automotive Accounting: Understanding of automotive accounting principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of Out-of-State Titles: Familiarity with out-of-state title processes is advantageous.
- High School Diploma: Minimum education requirement or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure proper titling of new, used, and wholesale sales for the dealership.
- Process retail transactions promptly.
- Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation.
- Contact banks to obtain lien releases.
- Prepare title documents.
- Assist in creating and processing leasing and loan paperwork.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agency.
- Ensure the company’s tag and title work meets state requirements.
- Prepare and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV).
- Schedule out-of-country DMV inspections to process US title work.
- Maintain titles and MSOs for inventory.
- File documents electronically and physically according to the file system.
- Order office supplies.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed.
