Harvest Associate

The role of the Harvest Associate is to assist the Cultivation team with routine labor duties. This will be accomplished by performing various tasks in the cultivation area. Harvest Associates are also responsible for harvesting crops and post-harvest activities such as drying, curing, destemming, and machine-trimming. This not a grower/cultivation position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Harvesting crops on a weekly basis.

· Drying crops and analyzing the moisture content of the flower.

· Use machinery in a safe manner to destem and machine-trim crops.

· Bottom pruning plants.

· Moving crops from vegetative areas to flowering areas.

· Mixing growing media and filling pots.

· Cleaning flower/vegetative rooms.

· Defoliating of crops.

· Daily cleaning of production work areas and facility corridors.

Other Qualifications:

· Landscaping, agriculture or horticulture experience

· Ability to work with your hands

· Ability to follow direction

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Experience in Horticulture.
