What are the responsibilities and job description for the Frame Builder position at Current Opportunities?
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Read and comprehend instructions before starting building process
- Plywood and or hardwood assembly
- Positions precut frame parts and brace in fixture
- Modifying and correcting frames as needed
- Use of hand tools. (IE. Pneumatic staple gun, glue applicator, saw, and planer)
- Other job duties as needed
Qualification requirements
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the business
- Must be able to follow written instructions in English, read a tape measure
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
Physical demands and abilities
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching, and walking
- Able to lift 50 pounds, repetitively
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel parts
