Project Coordination at Cushing Terrell:
Cushing Terrell is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with at least 5 years of experience in on of our offices. You will join a diverse team in a warm, welcoming, creativity-driven environment that values collaboration and a forward thinking attitudes.
As a Project Coordinator at Cushing Terrell, you will have a unique opportunity to work with diverse professionals in Missoula. You will carry out duties that are crucial to the operation of our organization. You will be tasked with being highly organized and detailed oriented, using your knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Deltek Vision Planning, and a dash of ingenuity to help drive projects. Successful candidates will be excited about learning new areas, taking on more responsibility, and most importantly, having a can do attitude. Communication is integral to this position and phenomenal writing skills will be required as you will be interfacing with both clients and contractors. You will be called upon to support our design teams in partnership with talented Architects, Engineers, and Business Professionals across our 14 offices.
What we expect you can bring to the table:
- Excellent technical skills are required in a tech driven firm, you will be required to use a variety of computer programs including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Deltek Vision Planning, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Submittal Exchange, Procore, and potentially more.
- Experience with AIA document software, fee proposals, construction correspondence review and proofing, and other related Architectural and Engineering experience is preferred.
- A strong understanding of construction and the ability to manage multiple complex schedules, in addition to correspondence and tracking of construction administration activities including: project submittals, request for information, proposal requests, change orders, and field reports.
- Comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively, concisely, and diplomatically across multiple different communication styles.
- Pleasantly persistent, as follow up is a key skill in this position.
- Fearlessness in terms of initiative, we expect that you are able to start projects on your own, face challenges, and contribute in efficiencies, even if you have never done a task before.
- A Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Business Management, or other related degree and/or equivalent experience will be required.
