Auto Body Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team at one of our three locations located in Evans, Augusta, and Martinez. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires proficiency in welding, vehicle assembly, and the use of specialized tools and equipment to restore vehicles to their original condition.

NO FRAME PULLING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Pay is based on experience and on a commission only basis.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
• Weld and assemble components as needed to ensure structural integrity of vehicles.
• Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance checks and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize auto estimating software to assess damage and provide accurate repair estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Lift heavy components and parts as required during the repair process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto body repair with a strong portfolio of completed work.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and familiarity with various welding equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Experience with auto estimating software is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to auto body repair are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
